In pursuit of our mission to contribute to the well-being of society, Uttrayan Welfare Foundation has initiated a comprehensive Community Health Program. This program aims to address the healthcare needs of underserved communities, promote preventive healthcare measures, and improve overall health outcomes. Through strategic partnerships and community engagement, we are committed to fostering a culture of health and well-being in the areas we serve.

Objectives of the Community Health Program:

  • Conduct health awareness campaigns on topics such as hygiene, nutrition, maternal and child health, and prevention of communicable diseases.
  • Organize workshops, seminars, and interactive sessions to educate community members about the importance of regular health check-ups and early detection of health issues.
  • Facilitate access to primary healthcare services by organizing medical camps.
  • Encourage lifestyle modifications and preventive measures to reduce the burden of non-communicable diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and obesity.

With the goal to promote education and empower the next generation, Uttrayan Welfare Foundation is proud to announce the launch of our Educational Item Distribution Program for Children. This initiative aims to enhance learning opportunities, support academic achievement, and foster educational equity among underserved children in our communities. Through the provision of essential educational items, we aspire to ignite a love for learning and equip children with the tools they need to succeed.

Objectives of the Educational Item Distribution Program:

  • Provide essential educational items such as textbooks, notebooks, stationery, and school bags to children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds that lacked access to these resources.
  • Inspire children to pursue their educational aspirations and unlock their full potential by removing financial barriers.

The Educational Item Distribution Program represents Uttrayan Welfare Foundation’s commitment to promoting educational equity, fostering learning opportunities, and nurturing the potential of every child. By investing in the educational development of underserved children, we aim to break the cycle of poverty, empower future generations, and build a more equitable and prosperous society. Together, with the support of our partners and stakeholders, we can create a brighter future for children, where access to quality education is a fundamental right, not a privilege.

Uttrayan Farm School is a unique initiative that has been undertaken by the Uttrayan Welfare Foundation with the vision to promote sustainable agricultural practices and to generate awareness and share knowledge about adopting non-conventional farming techniques and concepts to tackle the challenges posed by climate change.

With increasing population and related urban development, land for conventional agriculture is swiftly decreasing around the country. Uttrayan Farm School intends to educate both children and adults about the opportunity to use acres and acres of unused or neglected spaces like rooftops and terraces for practicing environmentally friendly organic farming.

The Farm School will not only produce its own organic agricultural products but will also welcome and encourage visitors, including school children, families and even corporates, to participate and receive practical hands-on training and experience in sustainable non-conventional agricultural practices.

The core vision and objective of the Uttrayan Farm School is to support and educate people about non-conventional and innovative organic farming techniques that will equip and empower the society in facing the threats of climate change and ensure a more healthy, safe and environmentally sustainable future.
